Inside Line: First Shakedown

We’ve just reached a big milestone at Bonnell: the first time our 805 and 902 e-moto production prototypes have been fully built and ridden.

After a long phase of design, testing and iteration, getting both platforms together, powered up and rolling on the local loops near HQ has been a huge moment for the team. The 805 comes across light and lively, easy to ride straight away, while the 902 feels fast and planted with plenty of power on tap, yet still surprisingly light underneath you.

We’re sharing this stage as part of Inside Line, a new behind the scenes series from inside Bonnell, in a short film called “First Shakedown”, focused on how the bikes feel under real riders and the reactions from the people who’ve been working on them.
